Fishing the Float #2

East Float Dock, Birkenhead. This is a revisited location - see my entry for 7th Nov, 2010 (http://darkhorseliverpool.blogspot.co.uk/2010/11/fishing-float.html). The children keep themselves amused whilst the father is fishing. I noticed the girl swinging on the chain fence and thought it would make a good composition. I had to be quick before I was noticed.

  1. What a great moment Alan! That looks like a rich area for getting some interesting photographs...

  2. Thanks Christine. I'm fascinated by industrial heritage. Merseyside is a great place to find relics and reminders (Birkenhead is on the opposite bank of the Mersey to Liverpool - there was once a great shipbuilding industry here). Old warehouses and docks are so interesting and - if you can get anywhere near - great photo subjects. I guess you have the same in Hamilton?
